This is one of Houston's treasures.  Poor Michael's on the Strand is one of Galveston's oldest running blues bars.  It's a great combination of an Irish Pub and a live blues and classic rock venue.  In addition to that, Poor Michael's has more than enough TV's to watch all your favorite sporting events.  A great staff, great drinks and an atmosphere that makes you feel right at home makes Poor Michael's on the Strand a great place to visit time and time again.
