Description

After a successful event with GRAMMY®-winning engineer Joe Chiccarelli in Dallas, the P&E Texas Tour 2009 is making its second stop in Houston to continue a series of educational programs. The tour will continue in Austin and San Antonio in July and early August. On this stop, producer/engineer/musician Brian Kehew (Fiona Apple, Fleetwood Mac, the Ramones)and producer/arranger/songwriter Kevin Ryan (Hurts To Purr, Sarah Sharp, Southern Backtones) will discuss their book Recording The Beatles, which takes readers behind the scenes of some of the Beatles' most famous recordings. A free music industry mixer will immediately follow the interactive discussion. Admission to the program is complimentary for Academy members. Non-members may attend for $50 per tour stop or join The Recording Academy® prior to this event for $100 (membership through June 2010) and receive complimentary admission for all four stops and future events.
