live music venues offer the staggering number of local bands a place to get their feet wet on stage or to just peddle their notes to the general public. Bands continuing the tradition of Texas-borne blues and rock can be found all over the city, but there are more than enough bands specializing in other genres to please even the most discriminating ear.
