Gay and Lesbian Houston

Houston is the proud home to a thriving gay and lesbian community. This robust city boasts an array of community resources, nightclubs and other businesses dedicated solely to the GLBT crowds. The Montrose neighborhood, just a quick five-minute drive from downtown, is widely regarded as the hub of this vivacious scene. Populated with a diverse and chic crowd, this neighborhood has plenty of personality and charm, and its historic architecture adds to its distinct character and appeal. Living up to it's reputation as a trendy (and highly desirable) neighborhood that locals boast they never have to leave for anything, streets like Westheimer are lined with clothing shops frequented by Houston's fashion elite, and restaurants that boast some of the best cuisine in the city can be found here. Simply put, there's plenty to see and do.
