I specialize in treating patients over the age of sixteen for a variety of psychiatric issues including, but not limited to: depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders, phobias, impulse control disorders, eating disorders, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, substance related disorders, cognitive disorders and ADHD.

I have a unique interest in the correlation between the immune, endocrine (hormone) and neuropsychiatric systems. For women, the interaction of these systems becomes more pronounced during their reproductive cycles; menstruation, pregnancy, postpartum and menopause. I have successfully treated many female patients who come to see me during these reproductive transitions.

I also have a special interest and addtional training in treatment of OCD as well as severe anxiety disorders. Additionally, when appropriate, I attempt to coordinate and encourage complementary and alternative approaches and treatments for patients
